Frédéric Cruciani has been a microlight (ULM) pilot and instructor in Alpe d'Huez for over 30 years.
For the past decade, Frédéric has returned to his first profession: photography, a passion that has never left him since the age of 15.
He combines his aeronautical expertise with his passion for photography. Aboard his weight-shift microlight or autogyro, he flies and takes photos at the same time — a unique aerial shooting and post-production technique that he alone has mastered.
He captures landscapes in panoramic format by assembling multiple photos — 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or more. For very large panoramas (more than 10 photos), he works in tandem with a dedicated pilot at the controls of the aircraft.
On this website, you will discover a wide collection of high-definition panoramic photographs: villages, resorts, valleys, lakes and glaciers from the five mountain ranges of the Oisans region.
Building on this extensive experience, he continues his aerial explorations in search of new landscapes across Dauphiné, the Hautes-Alpes, Savoie and Haute-Savoie.
A unique combination of aeronautical and photographic skills
Flying pendulum and autogyro ultralights allows for a unique approach to Alpine landscapes, even in the most demanding conditions.
Stitching 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 or more photos to create ultra-high definition panoramics, revealing every detail of the mountain ranges.
Photographs available as art prints. Printed on fine art paper, mounted on Dibond aluminium, framed in a shadow box frame.
